What's been happening here at BoyReview
April, 2012:
Spring is decidedly in the air, and we are getting our dusting brushes out and sprucing up the site this month. Look out for a new skin for the photopost coming later this month. Also be warned that we will be culling many older photos again, making room for newer more enticing images. On the more technical side, we hope to start a new caching system which should speed up the server response time even further. This will apply to all areas except search functions.
March, 2012:
It now seems that many file sharing sites have drastically changed their roles. MegaUpload was one of the main file-sharing sites, after it was taken down, the other main file-sharing sites have tumbled. Over the past few years, copyright violations were everywhere. It was relatively easy to get hold of Gigabytes of porn without any cost. This has had a very negative effect on the
industry, especially the smaller producers. They rely on membership fees to survive, and many have fallen by the wayside. Hopefully now that file-sharing sites are changing their attitudes, producers
will get higher membership numbers, and in turn they will produce more content. It will be a slow process, but we are looking forward to seeing better productions, and new boy sites springing up. We
all hope that the demise of MegaUpload will eventually result in more eye candy for us to feast on.
February, 2012:
We have moved our core servers to a new datacenter, improving throughput. The move went very smoothly and we are pleased with the new datacenters performance.
January, 2012:
Its been our pleasure to add some new sites to the review section, with the latest batch being exceptionally good. A couple of new Russian sites in there too. The photopost section will have an additional section shortly, with archived images from 2011. The 30,000 images in the Today's Post section will be trimmed
right down, removing all the old dead wood.
December, 2011:
Our festive design has been fired up in the photopost area.
November, 2011:
If you're reading this message, then you are on our new more powerful servers. Quite a job to move everything over, but hopefully things will settle down shortly.
October, 2011:
Due to the large bandwidth increase from our video section, we will be upgrading our servers, so you should no longer experience server outages. Our bandwidth has increased over the last two months from 3Tb/month to 8Tb/month. We are currently running everything from 2 servers, and we will increase this to 4 servers to improve performance.
September, 2011:
We have now added tubes and livecam sites, this month we will be working on links to useful kosher sites, tried and tested by us, such as anonymous proxy servers, where to grab little blue pills, and so on. There are so many fraudsters out there, its not easy to find your way. Also we will be adding a listing specifically for Twink Sites.
August, 2011:
Video clips have been added to the photopost section. This month we'll be working on a new links section listing all the juicy free teenboy sites which are worth
visiting. Google isn't really very good at coming up with anything other than trashy TGP sites which run you round in circles all day long. Filesharing servers
such as rapidshare, filesonic, don't have any new stuff, its all outdated. And the torrents are running scared with all the various legal actions against them.
July, 2011:
So the new video server was a bit more complex than we first envisaged. To put it lightly. But we have a new faster server prepared, we will be testing it with
some of our more hard core users, and hopefully it will be reality soon enough. Plenty of videos out there, but again, always have to wade through the trash to
possibly find a couple of gems. BoyReview will (as ever) be a bit different, and all videos will be hand selected for juicy action which we know you're just going
to love. RSS Feeds are now working properly, both for the photopost and also for the main site.
June, 2011:
BoyReview Version 2.0 will be ready soon. And this month we will be adding a new
video section. Also we will be trimming some of the dead wood from the photopost section. A few have gone already. Did you notice - of course not, your bloods not in the right place.
May, 2011:
The Our completely revamped site is now up and running.
April, 2011:
Our new website is up and running in test phase, with all the latest reviews from Matias
and Kuba. With some heated debates about what goes where and who does what, we
finally managed to bitch together a site. Bear with us as we iron out the teething problems. Over the course of the
next few months we will be adding more goodies and freebies, bringing BoyReview back on track.
At least all of the reviews are fresh and up to date. The silver lining in the clouds.
March, 2011:
New boy Matias is reviewing all of our favorite
websites. Kuba is post editing them, what do you expect from him, always has to have the last word.
February, 2011:
We are busy working on a completely new site design. It has to be built from scratch.
A good opportunity to make a fresh start.
January, 2011:
We managed to find some parts of the wrecked system and try to piece together a working Review site
but it just wasn't to be. Back to the drawing board with a fresh piece of paper.
December, 2010:
After a complete wipeout of the BoyReview Server with
no backup in sight we managed to piece together the
photopost. But the rest of the site was a goner.
